PHENOMENA AND ACTIONS FOR CONTROL BOX
• For the remedies indicated with (*) in the remedy column, always contact your Komatsu distributor.
• In cases of problems or causes which are not listed below, ask your Komatsu distributor for repairs.
Problem
Control box cannot be turned on.
Control box freezes (touch panel
does not react).
It automatically changes to Win-
dows® operating system screen.
The message about cylinder stroke
end reset does not go out.
Adjusting correction value of blade
elevation exceeds 50 mm {2 in} .

Main causes
Defective wiring
Time of pressing the power supply
ON switch of the control box is short.
Blown fuse
Insufficient battery charge
Battery disconnect switch at OFF
Defective control box
Defective control box
Wrong operation procedure
Defective input of pitch rod length
(Power angle power tilt dozer only)
Defective stroke sensor
Incorrect input of wear amount

Blade pitch angle is not adjusted.

Stroke end is not reset.
Incorrect setting of the base station,
base point and control point.
When approaching to the base point,
machine is turned.

Remedy
Check connector on back of control
box for disconnection, and check and
repair open circuit. (*)
Hold down the power supply ON
switch.

Charge battery.
Turn it to ON position.
Restart the control box.

Perform stroke end reset of cylinder.

Set correctly.
Approach by straight travel.
Change the operating time zone.
Move to the place with open sky.
