Setting the user bits for internal timecode (Ubits)

User bits are data that you can set to be included in the timecode. Up to 8 numbers (0–9) and letters (A–F) can be included.
Recording date information, for example, can be useful when editing later.
1.
Press m.
2.
Use e to select TIMECODE
(TC), and press E.

Use e to select Ubits,
and press E.

Setting value Explanation
uu uu uu uu
You can set these values as you like on the Edit screen.
mm dd yy uu
The month, day and year are entered automatically in that
order using the RTC setting. You can set the "uu" value as
you like on the Edit screen.
dd mm yy uu

order using the RTC setting. You can set the "uu" value as

yy mm dd uu
The year, month and day are entered automatically in that
order using the RTC setting. You can set the "uu" value as
you like on the Edit screen.
HINT
Only "uu" items can be changed on the Edit screen.
