AC Lync 6.4.0.7 Known issues and workarounds

Microsoft Lync Integration

Avaya has tested Avaya Communicator for Microsoft Lync (ACL) 6.4 SP7 with Microsoft Skype
for Business 2016 (Office 365 package) version 16.0.8431.2046 and has identified several issues,
which have not yet been addressed in SP7.

Issue description
Office 365 specific issues
Call Control Bar does not open
if calling user makes call to
called user first then sending
IM message
Office 365: Ghost Window
observed in Tabbed
conversation window after
resizing window.
Office 365: Contact not shows
call option if system is Idle for
long time
IM windows flicker when
joining and disconnecting call
The issues are not specific to Office 365
cannot access to conversation

maximizing/restoring
On Remote call window Name
is not resolved in Shared mode.
Video is separated without
active control bar in case it's in
docked with IM conversation
then pop out/pop in

Work around
There are several possible workarounds:
1. Disable tabbed conversation from SFB
Tools > Options > IM
2. Try to maximize and then minimize
conversation window
3. Pop out conversation tab manually
4. Close all the conversation tabs and
open specific contact conversation
window
