4. Select IM Handle Mapping from the drop-down menu. (H.323 protocol only)
5. Select the Use Active Directory GSS Bind check box as appropriate.

Description
Type of public directory.
Name of the directory.
Your user name.
Your password.
The search root. An example is ou=people,
o=company.

Avaya one-X
Communicator maps the IM
handles with LDAP attributes to retrieve
contact information for an Enterprise users
when they are add as Favorites. The
retrieved LDAP value is then converted to
make it the Presence handle. Your IM handle
options are:
• Email address
• Work Number
• Mobile Number
• Home Number
• Pager Number
The port number. The default value is 389.
The time out interval. The default value is 100
seconds.
