3. SAS3 MPT Controller Configuration Application
"SAS3 MPT Controller Configuration Application" (hereafter referred to as "this utility") is an
utility with which various settings can be adjusted, properties of this product and physical
devices can be viewed and even simple operations such as locate function can be operated.
It does not need specific media to starts up.
When "SAS 3 MPT Controller Configuration Application" starts up, please use the factory
settings.
3.1. Start this utility
The following context shows how to start this utility.
1.
Power on the system and start the SETUP utility. Refer to the computer's User's Guide for how
to use the SETUP utility.
2.
Select "Advanced" sheet and Move light bar to "LSI SAS3 MPT Controller SAS3008,..." as
shown in below figure and press <ENTER>.
Within this product, the latest version of this utility is embedded, but in some
occasions the description may not be exactly the same.
Without enable the I/O ROM of PCI slot which installed this product, the item "LSI
SAS3 MPT Controller SAS3008," is not displayed. Refer to the computer's User's
Guide for how to enable the I/O ROM of PCI slot.
