Red LED
Meaning
Motor doesn't start up.
Flashes 1x
Check whether the mains fuse
is switched on and the mains
plug is plugged in. If the thermal
overload protection has triggered:
Wait until motor and tempera-
ture limiter have cooled.
Cool-down time can be up to
15 minutes. Only switch the
unit on again after this time.
Humidity sensor is not sending

1. Scope of delivery

ZEG2 EC: Central ventilation unit with
integrated humidity sensor and connecting
cable with mains plug (1.2 metres, fully
wired), mounting material (4 screws and
4 fixing dowels). These mounting and
operating instructions.
ZEG2 EC-FB: Wireless remote control with
wall-mounting frame, 3 V battery (CR 2032),
mounting material (2 screws and 2 fixing
dowels).
When unpacking the unit, check to
make sure that the delivery is
complete. Please contact the dealer
if any accessories are missing or if
there has been any damage in
transit.

2. General notes

Read these instructions carefully
before operation or installation and
follow the information they contain.
Keep the instructions safe for use
later on.

2.1 Specialist installer qualification

The ventilation unit may only be installed and
commissioned by a trained specialist, in
accordance with these instructions.
You are considered a ventilation specialist if
your specialist training and experience in
ventilation technology enables you to
correctly and safely undertake installation in
accordance with planning documentation and
these instructions. In addition, you must be
able to recognise, assess and avoid risks due
to incorrect installation.
Only a trained electrician is permitted to work
on the electrics. Repairs may only be carried
out at the manufacturer's factory.
After successful installation and
commissioning, instruct users in the
ventilation unit.
