Insert zippers and piping
Align the right side or the left side of the zipper
foot pin with the presser foot holder, lower the
presser foot lever to attach the foot.
1. Needle stitches to the left of foot.
2. Needle stitches to the right of foot.
3. To insert zippers, consult the zipper package
for instructions on how to prepare zipper
placket and place zipper.
To sew close to the zipper on the right side,
snap the zipper foot onto the presser foot
holder on the left side so the needle passes
through the opening on the left side of the foot.
Snap the foot on to the presser foot holder on the
other side of the foot to sew close to the left side
of the zipper.
Piping
To insert piping, purchase pre-made piping or cover
cording with a bias strip of fabric using the zipper
foot snapped on to the right side of the presser foot
holder. Place the piping between two layers of
fabric. Stitch with the piping next to the foot
so the stitching is tight against the cord.
Scallop stitch
These stitches are used to sew a decorative edge on
garments and table cloths.
Decorative scallop edge
1. Place the fabric with wrong sides together and
stitch near the edge.
2. Trim along the outside edge of the stitching
(being careful not to cut the stitching).
3. Use seam sealant or fabric glue to secure
edges of the scallop stitching.

Fermetures à glissière
Utilisez le pied fermeture glissière, au moyen

qu'à droite, ou aussi au plus près de la cordelette.
1. Pour piquer de côté droit, changez le pied
et places le pied à droite de l'aiguille, de façon
à ce que celle-ci entre dans l'encoche prévue.
2. Pour piquer le côté gauche, vous placez
le pied à gauche de l'aiguille.
Galonner-Biaiser
Placez la cordelette dans la bande de biais et
épinglez ou faufillez-la sur l'étoffe.
Placez le pied fermeture glissière vers la
gauche, de façon à ce que l'aiguille entre dans
l'encoche située du côté droit du pied.
Point coquille
Ce point est utilisé pour réaliser des bordures
décoratives sur les vêtements de femmes
et d'enfants et le linge de maison.
1. Plier le tissu endroit contre endroit et coudre
le long de la pliure en laissant une bordure.
2. Couper le tissu le long de la couture, en
laissant un espace de 5 mm. Cranter cet
espace.
3. Retourner le tissu et repousser les
interstices de la couture vers l'avant pour
bien obtenir l'effet de coquille; repasser.

Einnähen eines Reißverschlusses
Senken Sie den Nähfußhebel ab und befestigen
Sie entweder den linken oder rechten Stift
des Fußes am Öhr.
1. Linker Stift zum Nähen der rechten
Reißverschlusseite.
2. Rechter Stift zum Nähen der linken
Reißverschlussseite.
3. Nähen Sie auf beiden Seiten vom Anfang
des Reißverschlusses bis zum Ende. Für
optimale Ergebnisse sollte sich die Nadel
dabei immer an der Reißverschlussseite
des Fußes befinden.
Um die andere Seite des Reißverschlusses zu
nähen, lösen Sie den Fuß mit dem Knopf an
der Rückseite, bauen den Fuß für die andere
Seite des Reißverschlusses um und beginnen
zu nähen (mit der Nadel in der anderen Kerbe).
Umhüllen eines Dochtes
Mann benütze den Reißverschlussfuß und
dezentriere die Nadel nach rechts, damit
mann sehr nahe am Docht nähen kan.
Bogennaht
Das wellenförmige, wiederholte Muster, das
wie Muscheln aussieht, wird "Bogennaht"
genannt. Es wird auf Blusenkrägen und zur
Verzierung von Tasentuchecken verwendet.

Sie darauf, nicht direkt am Stoffrand zu nähen.
3. Schneiden Sie entlang den Stichen. Achten Sie
daruf, dass Sie nicht die Stiche durchschneiden.
