7. Machine will sew the buttonhole in the
order as shown and stop automatically
after sewing.
8. Raise the presser foot and cut thread.
To sew over same buttonhole, raise
presser foot to return to buttonhole
starting position.
9. With the buttonhole cutter cut the center of
the buttonhole being carefull not to cut
the stitches on either side. Use a pin as
a stopper.
CAUTION:
To prevent accidents.
When using buttonhole cutter, do not put
your finger in the path of the cutter.
Note:
When sewing stretch fabric it is suggested
that you use interfacing on the backside
of the fabric.
Note:
Density of buttonhole legs may be
adjusted with stitch length control.

Corded buttonholes

Hook the filler cord (crochet thread or buttonhole
twist) to the spur in the back of the foot.
Pull both ends of the cord forward and parallel
under the guide. Sew buttonhole in the
way that zigzag stitches cover the cord.
When completed, release the cord from foot.
Pull ends of the cord forward and snip off
extra length.

8. Ouvrez la boutonnière avec le découd-vite.
Il est recommandé d'utiliser une épingle
droite pour éviter de coupe les extrémités
de la boutonnière en l'ouvrant.
Pour coudre les boutonnières sur les tissus épais
comme le jeans ou avec un gros fil, réglez la
longueur du point plus longue que celle d'origine.

Accrochez le fil de guipage au pied pour
boutonnière comme indiqué sur l'illustration,
pour qu'il se place dans les rainures, puis
nouez-le de manière lâche.
A la fin de couture, tirez doucement sur
le fil de guipage pour le tendre.

8. Heben Sie den Nähfußhebel an, schneiden Sie
den Faden ab und entferne Sie dann den Stoff.
9. Sichern Sie ein Ende des Knopfloches mit einer
Nadel so, dass die Naht nicht durchgeschnitten
wird, und schneiden Sie mit einem Pfeiltrenner
in Richtung der Nadel, um das Knopfloch
zu öffnen.
ACHTUNG: Wenn Sie das Knopfloch
mit dem Pfeiltrenner öffnen,
positionieren Sie Ihre Hände nicht in
der Schneidrichtung, Sie könnten sich
sonst verletzen, wenn der Pfeiltrenner
ausrutscht.

Verwenden Sie eine Kordel, wenn Sie
Knopflöcher auf Stretchstoffen nähen.
Haken Sie die Kordel so auf den in der Abbildung
gezeigten Teil des Knopflochfußes, dass sie in die
Nut passt und binden Sie sie dann leicht fest.
Passen Sie die Stichbreite auf die Stärke der Kordel
an. Senken Sie den Nähfußhebel und den
Knopflochhebel ab und beginnen Sie dann
zu nähen.
Wenn Sie mit dem Nähen fertig sind, ziehen Sie
vorsichtig an der Kordel, um sie zu spannen.
Ziehen Sie mit Hilfe einer Handnähnadel die
Kordel auf die Unterseite des Stoffes und
verknoten Sie die Kordel. Schneiden Sie den
Mittelteil der Kordel, die am oberen Ende des
Knopfloches verbleibt, mit dem Pfeiltrenner
durch. Schneiden Sie die vorstehende Kordel ab.
