Pre-installed licensing
The Microbox 427B-RTX/ -HMI/RTX and Panel PC 477B-HMI/ -HMI/RTX products have the
WinAC RTX 2005 incl. SP2, WinCC flexible RT 2007, and SOFTNET-S7 Lean Edition 2006
license keys pre-installed on every CompactFlash card. No user action is necessary; no
transfer of license keys is necessary. After booting the Microbox and Panel PCs, the pre-
installed software (WinAC RTX, WinCC flexible RT 2007, and SIMATIC NET) starts with
their license keys.
The license keys can be deleted or moved with the Automation License Manager (ALM). To
use the restore CD, you must first save the license keys on a USB drive or a PC in the
network.
