Centrifugal clutch

Assembly

Assemble the bearing in the clutch
housing.
Assemble the clutch drum and the
sealing sleeve.
Fit the clutch cover on the shaft.

Assembly
1. Heat the clutch housing to approx.
110 °C using a hot air gun.
2. Insert the bearing into position in the
clutch housing and fi t the circlip (G).
3. Slide the clutch drum in the bearing
while it is hot and fi t the circlip (D).
4. Lubricate the hole in the sealing
sleeve (C) with a little grease to
reduce the friction against drive axle.
Place the sleeve in position in the
shaft.
NOTE!
There should be no signs of
grease in the clamping joint for
the shaft and clutch cover.
Clean the surfaces using a
degreasing agent.
5. Apply a small amount of grease to
the end of the drive axle and fi t the
clutch cover on the shaft.
