This selection can be used to determine whether the load and the positions of the se-
lected curvepoint shall be approached. Hence, curvepoints can be changed without hav-
ing to approach them.
The following description also applies to without driving, but the load and the positions
will not be approached:
Curvepoints that have been changed with the without driving function must
be checked to ensure that their combustion values will be correct!
If curvepoints have been set without driving, the degree of readjustment is based on es-
timation. This means that there is no proof yet that all curvepoints are correctly set from
the combustion point of view. This must be ensured using adequate measuring equip-
ment.

It is to be noted that with these settings, which can be made in standby and normal op-
eration, the actuators will travel to the displayed or changed positions.
Traveling to the load that is assigned to the curvepoint can be stopped by pressing Esc .
During the time the actuators approach the positions, the display shows « > » in place of
« : ».
Note: If a new point is introduced, the point's data to be entered are the actual values.
The parameter that shall be changed (e.g. the fuel position) can be selected by chang-
ing the pointer position.
