Valve terminal type CPV..−GE−ASI−4−... has been designed
exclusively for controlling pneumatic actuators and is only
suitable for use in bus systems in accordance with the
AS−Interface specifications. The maximum values specified
for pressures, temperatures, electrical data, torques etc.
must be observed.
AS−Interface bus systems and valve terminals may only be
installed by personnel especially trained for this purpose.
Detailed information on the design and method of addres
sing your AS−Interface bus system can be found in the man
ual for your master.
Detailed information on the pneumatic components of the
valve terminal can be found in the Pneumatics manual
P.BE−CPV−... .
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Connect an earth conductor of sufficient diameter to
the connection marked with the earth symbol.
S Commission only a valve terminal which has been
fitted and wired completely.
If the valve terminal is to be used as an explosion−
protected operating medium, make sure that:
S the electrical connections are not disconnected
under tension.
S the completely fitted valve terminal with all plugs,
adapters and protective caps complies at least with
protection class IP64.
