Maintained Illuminance

The detector measures the overall light level in the detection area and calculates the correct output for the luminaires,
to maintain above the required minimum illuminance level (maintained illuminance).
A dimming detector can be used to control the light output of luminaires that are fitted with dimming drivers.
The detector measures the overall light level in the detection area and regulates the output of the luminaires, to maintain a
minimum required level for the area and saving energy when natural daylight can be used to replace / supplement artificial
lighting (daylight harvesting).
Maintained illuminance in 'presence detected' and 'no presence detected' scenarios
No presence detected, daylight, lights off.
Presence detected, some daylight.
Lights on and dimmed to maintain a minimum level.
No presence detected, lights off.
8
Presence detected, sufficient daylight, lights off.
Presence detected, insufficient daylight.
