5. Remove the ceramic bowl and the steam funnel.
6. Clean the evaporator tank and the steam funnel with a household brush with
plastic bristles. Rinse with water.
7. Put the ceramic bowl and the steam funnel back in.

7.5. Cleaning the ceramic bowl

Clean the ceramic bowl for herbs and essences in the dishwasher as required.

7.6. Descaling the evaporator tank

Descale the evaporator tank as required. To do this, use a descaling agent for
household appliances. Observe the specifications and safety information provided
by the manufacturer.
1. Prepare the descaling solution according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Fill the evaporator with the descaling solution up to the maximum mark.
3. Allow the descaling solution to boil for 10 minutes.
4. Wait until the descaling solution in the evaporator has cooled.
5. Place a receptacle under the ball valve at the bottom of the evaporator and
drain the evaporator tank.
6. Rinse the evaporator tank twice with tap water.

8. Disposal

● Please dispose of packaging materials in accordance with the
applicable disposal regulations.
● Used appliances contain reusable materials as well as hazardous
substances. Therefore, do not dispose of your used appliance
with household waste, but do so in accordance with the locally
applicable regulations.
