Loading a Cartridge

Push the cartridge completely into the drive, as shown in Figure 3-1.

After a cartridge is inserted, the cartridge initialization process begins and the green
indicator flashes. When the cartridge is at the beginning of tape (BOT) marker, the
green indicator is illuminated. The cartridge is now ready for use.
CAUTION: If reusing a prerecorded cartridge and writing from BOT, all prerecorded
data is lost.
