Kit contents Drive Capacity The Compaq SLR Drive is a streaming quarter-inch tape cartridge drive that can read or write 8 GB of compressed data or 4 GB of uncompressed data. The drive provides low-cost data protection for workstations and entry-level servers.

Compaq SmartStart and Support CD Controller Compaq recommends equipping your system with either a 32-Bit Fast-SCSI-2 Controller or a more current device that provides full support for the Compaq SLR Drive. Software See Chapter 3, “Installing the Software Drivers” to obtain information on what software you need and where to obtain it.
