Installation Hardware Accessories Technical Information

Sign to Airfield Fastening Hardware
Anchor bolts or some other fastening hardware is needed to fasten the sign to the airfield. We
recommend Strong-Tie®, Strong Bolt 2® Series, ½", 316 Stainless Steel anchor studs for
anchoring the Eaton Crouse-Hinds sign to the concrete pad.

Flange Nuts
18-8 Stainless Steel "flange nuts" ½"-13 UNC, are needed for securing the sign to the anchor
studs. Use this in place of the nut supplied with the Strong Anchor studs.
2-piece Lock-Washers
½" Stainless Steel 2-piece lock-washers are needed to prevent the ½" flange nuts from loosening.
We recommend Heico Lock Washers P/N HLB-1/2"SS or Nord-Lock NL1/2" SPSS.
For optional external power cable option; 3/8" Stainless Steel lock-washers are needed to prevent
3/8" bolts from loosening. We recommend Heico Lock Washers P/N HLS-3/8"SS or Nord-Lock
NL3/8"SS.
