Fitting the Auger

Switch off the motor and activate the
N
auger brake – see "Auger brake"
Put down the auger – drilling spindle
N

Pull the retaining pin (1) out of the
N
auger shaft
Push the auger (2) onto the drilling
N
spindle until the holes (3) align
Insert the retaining pin into the hole
N
Fold down the spring clip of the
N
retaining pin so that it encloses the
auger shaft

Starting / Stopping the

Engaging the Auger Brake

Move the activating lever to
N
position A .
Starting
Press down the trigger lockout
N
lever (1), then squeeze the throttle
trigger (2)
and hold them in that position.
N
Move the slide control (3) to START
N
and hold it there.
Now release the throttle trigger,
N
slide control and trigger lockout in
that order. This is the starting
throttle position.
