4.2 Display Activation

For normal operation, activate the light sensitive display by first covering the display area totally.
On removing the covering, the display activates and cycles through the programmed set of display
measurements.
Information. For the use of local or remote serial communication and how to alter the displayed
set of measurements, or instrument setup, see the Quick Reference Programming Guide.

4.3 Battery Replacement

Note. If logged information is stored in the transmitter, download the logger data before
disconnecting the battery. Logger data is lost when the battery is disconnected.

If both batteries are good, no battery icons are displayed.

Replace Battery

When a single, steady battery icon is shown in the right-hand
battery position (as shown), the main section of the battery
l / s
pack is exhausted (80% of capacity) and the meter is
operating on the standby section of the pack. The battery
should be exchanged soon.
Battery Pack Exhausted

If the battery pack is not replaced, and the standby section
approches exhaustion, the battery pack requires immediate
l / s
replacement. Under this circumstance, the right-hand icon is
solid, while the left-hand icon flashes. The meter does not
make any measurements in this state.

Note: The battery pack is a sealed unit that has two
battery sections within it: Main and Standby.
