590FVK2 Flex Vent Kit
Use with following Valor Models:
- 530INI/IPI Portrain Insert with Co-Axial Vent Plate 530CVA2 ONLY
- RF24JDN/JDP Retrofire Insert with Co-Axial Vent Plate RA24CA ONLY
- 1000KN/KP H3 as an insert with Co-Axial Vent Adapter 1000CAA ONLY

Note
This kit must be installed or serviced by
a qualified installer, service agency or
gas supplier. These instructions are to
be used in conjunction with the main
installation instructions for the above
listed heater model.
Application
This kit is intended to be used when installing one of the
listed models into an existing solid-fuel burning fireplace
and the existing chimney is too small for installing side-
by-side 3" co-linear liners. The outer diameter of the
590FVK2 liner is approximately 5-3/8".
A separate flue collar adapter is required for each listed
fireplace model to convert the collars to the 590FVK2's
5" x 3" liner size. The 590FVK2 kit includes an adapter
with flashing for the top of the chimney that converts to
6-5/8" x 4" collars to accept standard listed Coaxial Vent
Temination Caps.
Use the included gear clamps and sheet metal screws to
secure the liners to the collars at the top and bottom of
liners. See following pages for more information.
