    Administrator’s Guide for Yealink VC800&VC500 Video Conferencing System Configuring LAN Properties DHCP DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is a network protocol used to dynamically allocate network parameters to network hosts. The automatic allocation of network parameters to hosts eases the administrative burden of maintaining an IP network. The system complies with the DHCP specifications documented in RFC 2131.

    Some branch offices lack IT professionals, which means that professional network configuration (for example: port forwarding) is impossible. Yealink VCS supports intelligent traversal deployment. You can deploy the VCS in an intranet, and assign a private IP address which can access the public network.
