- open the battery compartment and insert the battery
of CR 2450 type observing the polarity. The dosimeter
should switch on and self-test the LCD and the
loudspeaker for 2 s.
During the self-test, all segments of the LCD are
highlighted and a single-tone beep is formed. If some
LCD segments are not highlighted it indicates its
failure. A malfunction of the loudspeaker is evidenced
by the lack of sound signal.
As soon as the LCD self-test is finished, the
dosimeter enters the DER measurement mode, as
