Before first Use
Remove the mouse sander and all accessories out of the packaging and
check all parts for damage in transit. Keep packaging materials out of reach of
children. There is risk of suffocation!
Intended Use
The mouse sander may only be used for dry sanding work and polishing. The
machine is suitable for working on wood, metal, plaster, plastic and filler
surfaces. The sander can also be used for removing rust, old paint and
intermediate sanding.
When using the triangular sanding plate, the sander is perfect for sanding
corners and edges that are difficult to reach. If necessary, use the tip or an
edge of the sander plate to sand profiled sections.
Attaching the Sanding Plate
Choose the sanding pad according to the material being worked. Use sanding
pad with a 40 resp. 60 grain for rough sanding and on uneven surfaces. Use
the finer grain of 120 for smoother finish.
1. Attach the desired sanding pad on the sanding
plate (8 or 9) on the base plate (7). Make sure
the openings of the sanding pad fit with the pins
on the base plate. Firmly press the sanding pad
down on the base plate.
2. The spindle (10) is formed like a D. Turn the
spindle with the included hex wrench (4) that
way, so the D-shape of the spindle fits with the
D-shaped notch of the sanding plate (8 or 9).
3. Fix the sanding plate with the washer (13) and
the machine screw (14). Use the included hex
wrench. Turn the hex wrench clockwise in order
to tighten the machine screw. Only hand tight the
machine screw.
