Before first Use

Unpack the angel Grinder and check all parts for any damage in transit. Dispose
of packaging materials or store them out of reach of children. Plastic bags etc.
may become a deadly toy for children.

Start-up

1. Insert the supplied quick coupling adaptor (6) into the threaded air inlet hole at
the rear end of the unit. Upon delivery the hole is plugged with a rubber plug.
Seal the end of the quick coupling adaptor with Teflon tape before you screw it
onto the air connection of the angle grinder.
2. Attach the Auxiliary handle to the angle grinder.
3. Attach the inner flange to the shaft. The flange has notches which must lock
into the noses on the shaft. After that, place the cutting or grinding disc on the
shaft. Please observe the mounting instructions of the manufacturer of the
cutting or grinding disc. Next, screw down the outer flange with the flat side
facing the disc. Press and hold the spindle lock button (3) to arrest the spindle
and tighten the flange with the included pin spanner (7) hand tight.
4. The angle grinder requires lubricating oil during operation. Before each use
add oil through the air inlet or use an oil-fog lubricator. Also read the chapter
"Lubrication".
5. Use a flexible hose to connect the air polisher to the compressor. Set up a
pressure of at least approx. 6 bar on the compressor. Check all air connections
for leakages by switching on the compressor for a few seconds.
6. Make sure the switch (1) is set to the OFF position and switch on the
compressor and hold the angle grinder firmly with your hand.
7. Set the switch (1) to ON. The angle grinder starts up and you can begin your
work. To stop the angle grinder set the switch (1) back to OFF. Before setting
down the angle grinder wait until the dis has stopped rotating.
8. When replacing discs, after finishing work, during non-use and when applying
maintenance work, disconnect the angle grinder from the air supply.
