This button is only displayed when the machine is fitted with an inter-
nal tank. The machine's internal tanks are disinfected during the auto-
matic system test by the
If the automatic self-disinfection of the internal tank was not com-
pleted without faults, this function can be started manually.
Self-disinfection can only be carried out if there are no load carriers
in the wash cabinet.

The steps required for self-disinfection run automatically. Once self-
disinfection has finished, a message will appear on the display:
Self-disinfection completed
or
Self-disinfection failed
Press OK to confirm the message.

If self-disinfection is not repeated successfully, contact Miele Tech-
nical Service.
