If the battery had been discharged with high currency there will be a high current in
the beginning of the charging (max. 1.6A), which decreases after a short period. This
means that with a rising voltage the charging current decreases.
The charger can charge different batteries with different capacities. The bigger the
battery is, the longer the charging time will be. With smaller batteries the charging
time will be shorter.
For the charging itself it is not important if the battery is partly or completely
discharged.
The battery can stay connected to the charger for a long period, the surrounding
temperature should be in the range of 0° C to 40° C.
Attention:
if the battery is connected with the wrong poles at the charger the external
fuse will be damaged. Replace the fuse with the same value only (2,0 A)! if
the fuse was damaged by wrong polarity, the power LED will continue to be
on. if as a consequence the connected battery is not charged, it is obligatory
to check the fuse.
Usage of the product
1. choose the proper charging voltage (6, 8, 12V).
Attention: the wrong charging voltage can destroy this product
2. connection to 110 – 230V Ac
Firstly connect the charger to the 110 – 230V plug
3. connection to the battery
Connect the red pin of the charger to the positive pole (+) of the battery and the
black part to the minus pole (–) of the battery.
Notice!
The product is short circuit prevented for a brief span! Longer
lasting short circuits (longer than 0,5 min.) must be prevented
under all circumstances, otherwise parts of the charger or the
electronic might be overloaded.
