Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S WARNING This vehicle is equipped with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) airbags and seatbelt pretensioners. Before starting work, wait at least 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned off and the negative (-) battery terminal cable is disconnected. - Page 4 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S REMOVAL Removal - Engine Bay Open the bonnet. Disconnect the (-) negative battery terminal cable. Disconnect the positive (+) terminal cable. Remove the battery retaining bracket and hook. Remove the battery and store safely.
- Page 5 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Remove the scrivet securing the cup holder. Lift the cup holder away from the transmission tunnel. Remove the (2) outer screws securing the upper and lower sections. Turn the cup holder over and remove the (1) retaining screw underneath the cup holder.

Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S INSTALLATION Antenna Remove the sleeve, spacer washer, lock washer and nut from the antenna. Pass the antenna cable through the antenna mounting hole. Secure the antenna to the mount using the sleeve, spacer washer, lock washer and nut. - Page 7 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S From the radiator support panel, route the antenna cable under the front of the battery tray, below the washer bottle and along the inner quarter panel behind the earth strap and existing wiring harness.
- Page 8 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S 10. Carefully pull the lead wire and antenna cable through from the passenger’s side footwell. IMPORTANT Use silicon spray to allow the antenna cable to pass through the grommet more easily. At the completion of the installation process seal the antenna cable grommet entry point with an automotive grade sealant and secure with insulation tape.
- Page 9 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Re-assemble the two halves of the cup holder using the original fasteners. Ensure the power socket harness and the UHF CB transceiver power harness are correctly positioned through the cut-out. Position the UHF CB transceiver power harness and fuse/s neatly below the centre of the instrument panel.
- Page 10 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S UHF CB Transceiver Cradle and Radio Using a suitable primer clean the instrument panel at the cradle mounting location Fit the UHF CB transceiver cradle to the centre of the instrument panel in the location shown using double sided tap provided.
- Page 11 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Connect the power lead patch harness to the UHF CB transceiver. Fit the antenna adapter (supplied) to the antenna cable and connect to the UHF CB transceiver. Slide the UHF CB transceiver into the cradle.
- Page 12 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Alternate Speaker Microphone Hanger Location Speaker Microphone Hang the speaker microphone on the hanger and connect the cable to the UHF CB transceiver. Ensure the speaker microphone cable routing does not interfere with any of the vehicle’s controls.
