    Being defined as having no ingress of water when immersed at 1 metre for 30 minutes. The UH950S will only meet this rating if fully assembled and all rubber seals and covers are well maintained and correctly fitted. This means that the accessory jack cover is inserted, and the battery pack and antenna are attached and securely fastened.

    Charging the Battery Pack Your radio is powered by a specially designed Lithium Ion battery pack. • Before operating the UH950S, charge the Lithium Ion battery pack for 3 hours without interruption in the drop-in charger. During SCAN the UH950S only checks channels or frequencies that are in the SCAN Memory, which are indicated by the M (memory) icon.
