Warning WATERPROOF: IPX7/JIS7 Uniden’s UH835S/UH850S radio is designed to meet the water proofing standard of IPX7/JIS7. This Means: Being defined as having no ingress of water when immersed at 1 metre for 30 minutes. The radio will only meet this rating if fully assembled and all rubber seals and covers are well maintained and correctly fitted.
