: SCSI ID switch
1. Function of the SCSI ID switch
Maximum eight SCSI devices can be connected to an SCSI
bus (terminal) in a daisy-chain connection.
Every SCSI device which is connected to the SCSI bus
(terminal) must be numbered starting from [0] to [7] for
device identification.
This number is called SCSI ID. Different SCSI number
must be given to different device.
The SCSI device which is connected at the end of the daisy
chain connection, must be terminated by the SCSI termina-
tor.
When the FDDR-7000 (multi-channel digital disk record-
er) is connected to PC (personal computer) using the
HOST-SCSI terminal, the SCSI ID number of the FDDR-
7000 must be set.

1. This SCSI ID switch is effective only when the SCS-
15 board is inserted to the slot No. 10.
2. When the SCS-15 board is inserted to the slot No. 8 or
9, this SCSI ID switch does not function.
(The FDDR-7000 operation is not affected by the
SCSI ID setting.)

2. SCSI ID switch setting
Set the SCSI ID number using the switch S1 referring to
the following table.
(Default setting is "6" when shipped from the factory.)
S1 switch (Use from S1-1 to S104 only.)
