3.4 Application

The HTX 1HLP4K Transmitter and HRX 1LP4K Receiver are an ideal solution to send HDMI HD content up to 4Kx2K@30Hz to
an additional room, where the source can be controlled from the Zone. Plug an HDMI cable into the "Local" HDMI socket and
the other end in to the HD display located in the main viewing area.
Examples where the Triax Range of HDBaseT Matrices and Transmitters can be used.


3.5 Twisted Pair Cable Connection

The twisted pair used in this extender MUST be a straight-through cable. The connectors can be T568A or T568B, but both
sides must be the same. T568B is recommended

Note:
It is recommended to use a high quality CAT5e or better unscreened cable. For all our tests we have used CAT6 to
maximise the signal transmission. It is NOT recommended to use Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA) cable.
If a Screened CAT cable is installed it is imperative that both ends are grounded and no potential difference is present as
this will cause transmission issues.
