Safety Matters

Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance
for your safety and others' . Keep this manual in a safe place for future
use.
Following measures must always be taken when using an electrical
appliance. In order to prevent fire, electric shock and personal injuries;
Before using the appliance, make sure your mains voltage is
compatible with the appliance voltage.
This appliance is not a toy. So please never let your children play with
the appliance and be more careful when there are children.
Before first use, check the appliance for damages and defects. If
there is any malfunction or damage to the equipment, do not use the
appliance and get in contact with Fakir Authorized Service.

Safety Warnings

When utilizing an electrical appliance, the precautions below shall
always be taken in order to prevent fire, shock or personal injuries;
• Read this manual before using your device and keep this manual for
future reference.
• Before using the iron for the first time, check that the rated voltage
indicated on the rating plate is suitable for the voltage at your home.
• This appliance is intended only for domestic use. Not suitable for
industrial use.
• Do not use outside the building and in rooms with high humidity.
• Do not immerse the iron and the cord in water or other liquids.
• Never pull the cord to disconnect it from electrical outlet; instead,
grasp the plug and then disconnect.
• Keep the cord away from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
• Always unplug the iron from the outlet when it is being filled or
emptied and when it is not being used.
• Do not use an appliance with a damaged electrical cord or plug, or
that is immersed in water or damaged in some way.
• Do not attempt to remove and repair the components of the iron to
prevent the risk of electrocution.
