COMMISSIONING THE CAB

- Fill the washer bottle with water / windscreen wash fluid.
- Operate the windscreen wiper / washer switch and check for correct operation.
- Lubricate the door pivot points with grease.
- Operate the door mechanism and ensure correct operation.

DAILY

- Check that all nuts and bolts are secure and in good condition.
- Check the condition of the seat belts and replace any parts that are worn or damaged.
- Check that the emergency exits are in full working order.
- Top up the washer bottle fluid if required.

EVERY 250 HOURS

- Lubricate the hinge points and door locks with grease.

HINGING THE CAB FOR MOWER MAINTENANCE

WARNING - PREVENT ACCIDENTS: The following procedures should be performed with the aid of an assistant.
1.
Lower all cutterheads to the ground, apply the parking brake, switch off the engine and remove the ignition key.
2.
Connect up suitable lifting equipment (capable of lifting 350 kg safely), to the two lifting points at the top of the rear
corners of the cab main assembly.
3.
Disconnect the wiring connectors inside the rear of the cab.
4.
Remove the two bolts securing the rear cab mountings.
5.
Carefully raise the rear of the cab away from the machine using the lifting equipment (with another person to assist)
and rotate the cab forwards on its front mountings.
6.
Support / block the cab safely in the required position.
7.
The cab may be refitted by following the above procedure in reverse. Re-assemble the rear mounting bolts and ensure
that the mount retainers (items 36) are correctly located. Refer - fig. 10. Tighten the mounting bolts to 75Nm torque.
8.
To remove the cab completely from the machine, follow procedures 1 to 5 above, but arrange the lifting straps as
shown in fig. 8. Operate the lifting device to support the cab and remove its weight from the front securing bolts.
Remove the front mounting bolts and then carefully raise the cab fully away from the machine using the lifting device.
