ASSEMBLY
Continued.
Early LT322 and LT324 Turf Mowers will require some hole sizes to be increased and additional holes to be added to
enable the cab to be fitted.
WARNING: PREVENT ACCIDENTS - Always wear eye protection when drilling.
Proceed as follows:-
1.
Following removal of the rear fuel tank mounting
fasteners (step 9 on page 1.16), file out the slots (A) in
the chassis brackets to enable M10 screws to be fitted.
Refer - fig. 11.

Remove the fuel tank
3.
Open out four holes (B) each side of the chassis member
to 10.5mm diameter as shown in fig. 11.
Take care when drilling the holes not to damage the
hydraulic hoses. It is recommended that a steel plate be
inserted between the chassis member being drilled and
the hydraulic hoses.
4.
Locate the rear cab support R.H. in position and mark
the positions of the holes (C) to be drilled in the top of the face of the chassis member. Refer - fig. 11.
5.
Repeat step 4 for the rear cab support L.H.
6.
Depending on the drilling equipment available, drill 2 - 10.5mm diameter holes in each chassis member or mark the
position of the holes on the fuel tank mounting brackets and drill through the brackets to the chassis member.
Take care when drilling the holes not to damage the hydraulic hoses. It is recommended that a steel plate be inserted
between the chassis member being drilled and the hydraulic hoses.
7.
Refit the fuel tank and continue to proceed according to the instructions for fitting the cab.
