8. Start the engine and drive to a flat area. Check the oil
level again.
Changing the Engine Oil Filter
Service Interval: Every 200 hours
Note: Change the engine oil filter more frequently when
operating conditions are extremely dusty or sandy.
1. Clean the area around the oil filter.
2. Drain the oil from the engine; refer to
Engine Oil (page 24).
3. Change the engine oil filter as shown in
(Figure 34).

Important: Thread the oil filter on until the
gasket touches the engine and then turn it an extra
3/4 turn.
4. Fill the crankcase with the proper type of new oil.
