Checking the Engine-oil Level
Service Interval: Before each use or daily
Note: Check the oil when the engine is cold.
WARNING
Contact with hot surfaces may cause personal
injury.
Keep hands, feet, face, clothing, and other body
parts away from the muffler and other hot surfaces.
Important: Do not overfill the crankcase with oil
because damage to the engine may result. Do not run
engine with oil below the low mark because the engine
may be damaged.
1. Lower the grinder and stop the engine. Remove the key.

Changing the Engine Oil
Service Interval: Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever comes
first) (more often in dirty or dusty
conditions).
Note: Dispose of the used oil at a recycling center.
1. Start the engine and let it run five minutes. This warms
the oil so it drains better.
2. Park the machine so that the rear is slightly lower than
the front to ensure the oil drains completely.
3. Lower the grinder and stop the engine. Remove the key.
4. Place a pan below the drain hose. Rotate the oil drain
valve to allow oil to drain

5. When oil has drained completely, close the drain valve.
6. Dispose of the used oil at a recycling center
