Setting Direction Output and Compass Damping

To select direction output (Heading or COG) you must go through the declination menu and bow offset
menu, pressing the GUN
To set damping, you must go through the declination, offset menus, and Heading / COG selection
pressing the GUN button each time to change menus. See illustration below for more information:

Heading / COG Menu
Choose between Magnetic Heading
(compass) and Course Over Ground (COG)
by pressing
to change the selection.
Set your Heading or COG selection and
enter damping menu by pressing GUN. Exit
menu without changing your Heading /
COG selection by pressing
Press RESET
to Exit
Damping Menu
(See following section for explanation of
damping.)

Adjust compass damping by pressing
or PIN. Damping can be set to 0 (no
damping), 1 (low), and 2 (high).
Set the damping and exit user setup by
pressing GUN. Exit user setup without
setting damping by pressing RESET.
