4-24. Maintenance mode

The maintenance mode is the mode under which the notice telling that the duration of use of the sewing
machine has reached the time requiring maintenance is provided in order to extend the product life of the
sewing machine. Under this mode, the maintenance screen is displayed on the operation panel. When the
maintenance staff enters the user password, the maintenance screen is erased.

1) The maintenance screen is displayed when the
time at which the sewing machine requires main-
tenance has come. (Approximately once every
three months)
When cancel button A is pressed, the mainte-
nance screen returns to the sewing screen. How-
ever, the maintenance screen is re-displayed one
hour later.
2) When enter button B is pressed, the user pass-
word input screen is displayed provided that the
user password has been set up in prior.

4) Enter the user password. Then, the maintenance
screen returns to the sewing screen.
