Perform a recovery-regeneration whenever
there is a loss of engine power and a parked
regeneration cannot effectively clean the DPF of
soot.
A recovery regeneration requires up to 4 hours
to complete.
You need a distributor technician to perform the
recovery regeneration process; contact your
Authorized Toro Distributor.
Adjusting the Lift-Arm
Counterbalance
You can adjust the counterbalance on the rear
cutting-unit lift arms to compensate for different turf
conditions and to maintain a uniform height of cut in
rough conditions or in areas of thatch buildup.
You can adjust each counterbalance spring to 1 of 4
settings. Each increment increases or decreases the
counterbalance on the cutting unit by 2.3 kg (5 lb).
The springs can be positioned on the back side of the
spring actuator to remove all counterbalance (fourth
position).
1. Position the machine on a level surface, lower
the cutting units, stop the engine, engage the
parking brakes, and remove the key from the
ignition switch.
2. Insert a tube or similar object onto the long
spring end to relieve the spring tension during
the adjustment
(Figure
