Searching of Address

With the Host and MAC Search functions, you can simply check any of the IP
addresses in the network for a particular workstation.
6.2.1

Host Search

Host Search is for searching a host by IP address on the network, and
getting the port number to which the host is connected. It is useful while
configuring the VLAN. With this function, you can easily detect the port at
which a host is connected to, and have an idea about which ports should be
included in a VLAN.
NOTE
This Host Search function only applies to the setting up of SXP2226WM via
LAN Port Please refer to details for "Method #2 – Connect from
Management Port to LAN port" on Page 12.
