Assembly / disassembly

DANGER - Risk of electric shock from live
parts!
Unplug the mains plug or disconnect the
BAT 645 from the mains before opening.
Work on electrical systems or equipment
must only be performed by qualified
electricians or trained personnel under
the guidance and supervision of an
electrician.
Observe the electrical engineering safety
regulations.

Replacing the housing caps

1. BAT 645 to be disconnected from the mains voltage
system.
2. Remove power supply cable from BAT 645.
3. Remove Torx screws from the housing caps.
4. Replacing the housing caps (Fig. 4, item 1).
5. Use the provided Torx screws to attach new housing
caps to the BAT 645.
!
Use only the Torx screws provided. Other screws
can damage the BAT 645.

Replacing the top part of housing

4.2.1

Removing the top part of housing

1. Disconnect BAT 645 from the mains voltage system.
2. Remove power supply cable from BAT 645.
3. Remove housing caps (see sec. 4.1).
4. Remove Torx screws from housing.

The top part of housing is connected to the lower
part of housing by a PE cable. The M1 circuit board
is connected to the power module by a connecting
cable (see sec. 6).
5. Carefully lift the top part of housing.

6. Disconnect PE cable from lower part of housing.
7. Disconnect M1 circuit board connecting cable from
power module.
8. Remove top part of housing.
