Overview

This document contains instructions for replacing the nib on your SMART Board V280
interactive whiteboard's battery-powered pen.

Detail

Your interactive whiteboard comes with four replacement nibs and tips so that you can
easily replace the pen tips (cones) and nibs when they wear out.
New Nib
If a pen nib is worn down too far, you might not be able to activate the pen's tip switch.
NOTE
With normal use, each tip and nib lasts approximately 25 weeks.
A worn nib may
make it more
difficult to write on
the interactive
screen.
