1. INTRODUCTION The DVI Enhancer with EDID Management is a handy device for your DVI signal extension and differentiation. With 3G bandwidth and EDID selection this device allows you with fast and clear viewing on the DVI signal status. Further, this device allows user to upload EDID for selection which create alternative EDID selection for specific usage. -

6. OPERATION CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS 6.1 Front Panel PWR LINK DVI OUT INT EXT USER EDID Power: This LED will illuminate when the device is connected to an active power supply. USB LINK: This LED will illuminate when the connected USB device is valid for PC control. -

6.2 Transmitter Rear Panel DC 5V DVI IN SERVICE DVI IN: Connect with DVI source equipment such as PC or Graphic card devices. SERVICE: This is reserved for firmware update use and EDID Manager Tool only. DC 5V: Connect the adapter included in the package and connect to AC wall outlet for power supply. -

6.3 EDID Manager This unit includes an EDID Manager application that allows user to manage EDID from PC to display. The application can be downloaded from www.cypress.com.tw with file name CDPS 2016. Once the file has been downloaded successfully an icon of CDPS 2016 will appear. - Page 10 Click on System to learn the unit’s Current Firmware version. To update simply open the *.bin file and click on Update. Once the update is finished click on Disconnect and re-power on the unit will complete the update procedure. To use the advance features like EDID Analyzer and Creator requires registration and approval license.
