It is strictly forbidden for people operate the scissor lift when they are under the influence of

alcohol, drugs or medicine that makes them drowsy.
In the Netherlands: Operators are recommended to have the "Veiligheidscertificaat

Hoogwerker". This is recognized by the Stichting Toezicht Certificatie Verticaal Transport
(TCVT).
The IPAF mobile elevated working platforms operator course is recognized internationally.
Maintenance may only be carried out by people who have read and understood the

instructions contained in the instruction manual and who have specific knowledge of the
operation and construction of the scissor lift manufactured by HOLLAND LIFT
INTERNATIONAL B.V..
