Is the Paper Guide Mylar
deformed or dirty?
Does the Gate Switching
Plate operate properly?
(Is Duplex Unit Gate
Switching Solenoid SL31
energized for a paper
length of 300 mm or
longer?)
Does the voltage across
PJ3G-5 on PWB-G and
GND change from DC24V
to DC0V after the Start
Key has been pressed?
Slide out the Duplex Unit
and remove the PWB
Cover. Then, slide the
Duplex Unit back into the
copier. Does the voltage
across PJ3G-2 on PWB-G
and GND change from
DC5V to DC0V when
Duplex Unit Trailing Sensor
PC14 is blocked by a sheet
of paper in the above
condition?
Slide out the Duplex Unit
and remove the PWB
Cover. Then, slide the
Duplex Unit back into the
copier. Does the voltage
across PJ2G-4 on PWB-G
and GND change from
DC5V to DC0V when
Duplex Unit Paper Empty
Sensor PC15 is blocked by
a sheet of paper in the
above condition?
