DIGI-FO-USB3.0 Installation Guide
The Intelix DIGI-FO-USB3.0 is a two-port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed
extension solution, enabling USB 3.0 connections at up to 5
Gbps over 100m/330ft of OM3 multimode fiber optic cable. The
DIGI-FO-USB3.0 features two locking USB 3.0 ports delivering
900mA power to each port and a true plug-and-play solution. The
DIGI-FO-USB3.0 is not backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB
1.1.

Important notice:

• Do not attempt to disassemble or alter the housing. There are no user-serviceable
parts inside the unit. Doing so will void your warranty.
• To minimize the possibility of equipment damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD),
all source and destination equipment must be powered off during installation.
• Do not connect the device to a telecommunication outlet wired to unrelated
equipment. Doing so may damage the unit or any connected equipment. Ensure all
connected twisted pair cabling is straight-through (point-to-point).
• Allow proper ventilation to reduce the risk of thermal failure.
