DIGI-USB2-4P Installation Guide
The Intelix DIGI-USB2-4P extends computer USB 1.1 and USB 2.0
signals up to 100m (330 ft) over twisted pair cabling to four remote
devices.
The DIGI-USB2-4P utilizes inexpensive twisted pair cabling and
has a throughput of up to 480Mbps. The DIGI-USB2-4P is perfect
for keyboard and mouse extension, remote data ports, up to 4
USB hubs, security applications and interactive white board
applications.
Important notice:
Do not attempt to disassemble or alter the housing. There are no user-serviceable
parts inside the unit. Doing so will void your warranty.
To minimize the possibility of equipment damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD),
all source and destination equipment must be powered off during installation.
Do not connect the device to a telecommunication outlet wired to unrelated
equipment. Doing so may damage the unit or any connected equipment. Ensure all
connected twisted pair cabling is straight-through (point-to-point).
Allow proper ventilation to reduce the risk of thermal failure.
