Intended Use The Ironton 8 Inch Benchtop Buffer is ideal for buffing and polishing copper, steel, brass, nickel, silver, and chrome-plated products. Your tool must be plugged into an appropriate outlet, properly installed and grounded in accordance with all codes and ordinances. The plug and outlet should look like those in the following illustration. Double Insulated Tools: Tools with Two-Prong Plugs Tools marked Double Insulated do not require grounding. They have a special double insulation system which satisfies OSHA requirements and complies with the applicable standards of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., the Canadian Standard Association, and the National Electrical Code. -

Mounting Holes Before attempting to use this buffer, it must be properly mounted to a workbench or grinding stand. Note: Bench buffers vibrate. Buffer movement during high-speed rotation may cause injury to the operator or damage to the workpiece. Mount the buffer securely to a sturdy workbench or grinding stand. -
