Intended Use The Ironton Electric Chainsaw Sharpener is designed to sharpen most types of chainsaw chains. USE A PROPER EXTENSION CORD. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage, resulting in loss of power and cause overheating. -

1. Position the sharpener on the mounting surface so that the mounting stop butts up against the vertical edge of the surface. 2. Using the base as a template, mark locations of mounting holes. 3. Drill pilot holes appropriate for the proper hardware (sold separately) at the marked locations. 4. - Page 10 Direction of feed. 3. Place the grinding wheel on the arbor, then thread the outer flange onto the spindle. Wrench tighten only enough so that the wheel is securely held on the spindle. 4. Replace the grinding wheel cover. After Each Use Wipe external surfaces of the tool with a clean cloth. -
