Move away from the motion detector for the next minute, so that it can measure the current brightness without being shaded.

Avoid interference sources in the detection area. Interference sources, e.g. heaters, ventilation, air conditioners, and cooling light bulbs can lead to unwanted switching. i If necessary, the detection area can be limited using the push-on top (see Limiting the detection area).
